Additional Requirements:



·       The Government requires access to the building 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year.

·       Subleases will not be considered.

·       Minimum ceiling height of 8 feet throughout the space is required.

·       The space must yield a minimum of 20 feet on center between columns or similar structural elements.

·       The space must be contiguous.

·       Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease.

·       A fully serviced is required.

·       Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plan.

·       Offered buildings must be of sound and substantial construction with a professional and aesthetically pleasing appearance as determined by the Lease Contracting Officer.

·       Offered building must be within 2640 walkable feet (1/2 mile) of public transportation.

note that any figures used for a cost benefit analysis (CBA) must be supportable.

Consideration of “non-productive agency downtime” in a CBA should be rare.

The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Quincy, IL that will be expiring.  The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous.  In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure.

 

Action: For FBO postings, delete “offers due;” for procurement summary, keep “offers due” and delete “(estimated)” from dates.
