Security Upgrades at the Henrico County Courts Facility
The Work consists of security upgrades to the second floor newly constructed Holding Cells. These are
located at both the west and east ends of the Judges corridor. Work on the second floor includes, but is not
limited to, security cameras, duress alarms, inmate request assistance push buttons, ceiling microphones,
and related conduit runs to the first floor officer station. Additionally, the Work consists of security upgrades
to the area of the holding cells and officer station on the first floor adjacent the Jail. Work in the this area of
the first floor holding cells/officer station includes, but is not limited to, alarms panel, DVR, intercom station,
flat panel CCTV monitor, prefabricated metal desk, replacement steel door unit, card readers, and security
cameras. Electrical/utility work in this area includes, but is not limited to, egress lighting, receptacles,
conduit runs, and ceiling access panels.
