Security Services for Forsyth Tech
The contract period will be from May 1, 2008-April 30, 2009. The contract may be renewed on a yearly basis for up to two (2) additional years.
Services shall be provided at the following locations (and any additional locations as specified by
Forsyth Tech:
1. Maize S. Woodruff Center located at 4905 Lansing Drive in Winston-Salem, NC, including the
Public Library, which is located at the Maize S. Woodruff Center.
2. Grady P. Swisher Center located at 125 Dudley Products Drive in Kernersville, NC.
3. North West Forsyth Center (NWFC)-3111 Big Oaks Rd, King NC 27021
Typical hours of operation at Monday-Thursday from 7:00 AM-10:30 PM and 8.5 hours on Friday
from 7:00 AM -3:30 PM. Holidays observed by Forsyth Tech are listed in the College Catalog. Any
extra hours must be approved by Forsyth Tech.
Duties will consist of but not be limited to the following:
Visible security presence for the site to include foot patrol of interior and exterior of the building.
Contacting appropriate personnel for various emergencies: Police, Fire and EMS.
Ability to make good decisions and have good judgment.
Ability to follow instructions and directions.
Ability to write legible and understandable reports.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and to climb, sit or stoop.
Transport deposit bags from off campus site to Main Campus daily or as needed.
Writing parking tickets
Other duties and task as needed.
