Security Patrol Services
The firm will provide a security guard on site that will make a regular roving foot patrol
of the Zoo grounds and surrounding area for every night of the contract year. The firm
will also provide an electronically documented presence such as bar code scans at key
locations throughout the Zoo during each shift or similar. The patrol will be conducted
on foot by one (1) unarmed uniformed officer each hour between 5PM and 8AM. The
security guard is expected to be on duty for the Zoo throughout this time period.
Initial foot patrols each day shall include checking building doors to ensure they are
closed and locked. The restroom outside of the Zoo service gate shall be locked after dark
and no later than 11PM and unlocked at 6AM.
