The purpose of Amendment 3 is to provide response to questions received from a vendor and to extend the deadline for quote submissions to Wednesday, March 6, 1700 ET. Attachment 1 provides the Questions with Answers and Attachment 2 provides the building floor plans.

ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS:
The USGS St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC) has a requirement to improve facility security. At three entry point locations of our facility (two vehicle gates and the front entrance) the USGS SPCMSC requires an internal intercom system with ability to monitor visitor points of entry and grant access through existing building security mechanisms.

This is a fixed price contract. Work is to be completed within a two-week period, no later than 05/01/2019. A site visit is permitted, with 48-hour notice, described in Section E.4. Quote submissions are due on or before 02/28/2019.

The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to the Government, considering price, past performance and technical capability. Refer to Section E.2., for Evaluation Factors.

The acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 561621, and size standard $20.5 million.

The anticipated award date of the contract is by 03/14/2019. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract.
