The Port is soliciting proposals from qualified firms with expertise in providing services to plan and design security enhancements at two existing Port terminals. New security improvements will integrate with existing security systems and modify existing infrastructure to allow improved protection, response and recovery capabilities at primary points of ingress and egress to Port facilities. The proposed work is the result of grants from the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA Port Security Grants Program and will conform to Port Security Department policy for controlling access to any information generated as part of the work. The cost of construction is estimated at $2,785,900.00.
