Security Forces Vehicle Equipment with Installation
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is W91ZRS-14-T-0003, Request for Proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 441310; size standard is $14 M. This acquisition is reserved for 100% small Business concerns. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contact.
This requirement consists of furnishing all labor, expertise, equipment, materials, facilities, transportation, and appliances necessary for upfitting (4) four security vehicles. This requirement is for equipment and installation that will be permanently assigned to non-tactical security forces vehicles to include the following:
1. Warning Light System, Siren System, Public Address System, Spotlight, and Land Mobile Radio (LMR). The LMR will be furnished by the Government and require installation.
2. The equipment will be installed on the following vehicles:
1999 Chevrolet K1500
2004 Ford F350
2008 Ford F150
2008 Ford F150
All work shall be performed in accordance with, and conform to the terms, standards and conditions of all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and best commercial practices. Products must be quote mark Brand Name quote mark , or equal. If providing an quote mark EQUAL quote mark product, please provide the specifications for each item.
Proposals will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Please see attached document for details of requirements. The Government anticipates a fixed price, single award contract from this solicitation.
To receive an award of contract the offeror must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database which can be accessed at the website https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. Offers shall be submitted NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM, 1 August, 2014, to the Bradley Air National Guard Base Contracting Office, ATTN: Dawn Whelan, 100 Nicholson Rd, East Granby, CT 06026.
