Sector Based Incumbent Worker Training Initiative
County Office of Workforce Investment, on behalf of the Local Workforce Investment Board ("LWIB"), in accordance with the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998, is soliciting proposals from business industry sectors, including those in the Healthcare, Hospitality, Finance, Green/Construction, Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing and Information Technology sectors to provide skills training for current employees that will result in the upgrade of these employees' skill sets and competencies. It is preferable that this training leads to a national, state and/or industry recognized credential, certification, and or license.
