The Center for the Performing Arts has released a Request for Information (RFI) for a uniquely qualified, full-service advertising agency in preparation for its opening in the spring of 2012.

The RFI calls for an agency to assist in The Center's launch, taking on responsibility for brand development, a pre-opening campaign and media strategy as well as database growth initiatives, and the creation of all communications materials to support marketing campaigns, donor giving, educational initiatives and all other Smith Center programs.

Upon completion, The Smith Center will be the first performing arts center in Las Vegas. The multi-theatre complex will house the Las Vegas Philharmonic and Nevada Ballet Theatre as well as a Broadway series, limited engagement concerts and a multitude of educational components including the Discovery Children's Museum.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is a public/private partnership that will become the centerpiece of cultural life in Las Vegas offering a blend of performances by resident companies as well as first-run touring attractions. The 5-acre cultural campus will feature three performance spaces including the 2,050-seat Reynolds Hall with refined acoustics and the Boman Pavilion housing a cabaret jazz space and a studio theater, all complemented by the DISCOVERY Children's Museum.
