Scope of Work and Deliverables

Special Olympics will retain a consultant to improve search engine optimization (SEO) of inclusivehealthcenter.org to ensure key target audiences are aware of the site and are using it.

The SEO consultant will:
- Conduct an initial technical review of the website and content quality scoring to improve trust in Special Olympics for inclusive health thought leadership.
- Make content quality recommendations, which may include how to fill content gaps, improve low-performing content, streamline overlapping content, and how to leverage high-performing content.
- Make technical recommendations for SEO aligned with publicly posted webmaster best practices, which may include updates to site navigation, adding/editing/removing pages, changes to web copy/header/title tags, URLs, and production of specific types of content (videos, webinars, infographics, etc.).
- Provide regular updates to Special Olympics about the impact of implemented recommendations, and provide additional recommendations as necessary.
- Establish SEO tracking in software accessible by Special Olympics, who will retain ownership of the account.
- Train Special Olympics staff in how to use SEO tracking software and interpret reports.

The consultant will not be responsible for making code changes or creating/editing content.

Timeframe
This consultancy will begin in April 2019 and will end in March 2019.
