Statement of Requirement / Work
ScrubEX MV Dispenser / Receiver Unit
**This is Brand Specific Requirement a J and A will be included in the Solicitation**

Description of Use:
The VA St. Louis Health Care System (John Cochran Division) is in need of two additional scrub and linen dispenser and receiver units for the newly renovated 4B Surgery area. The scrub and linen dispenser/receiver system along with the software will dispense and receive scrub and linens, monitor inventory and provide management reports in order to increase productivity, support infection control efforts, and provide cost savings by reducing replacements of surgical scrubs and linens. St. Louis VA currently owns various ScrubEx units throughout the facility and these 2 new units will be additional units being added in to that system.

Minimum Technical Specifications:
The two additional scrub and linen dispenser/receiver units should meet the following minimum specifications:
2 medium volume dispenser and receiver units
Store 64 sets of scrubs
Have the ability to serve up to 85 users per day
Authorized access
Lock out unauthorized users
Only give access to authorized users
If VA PIV cards cannot be used, vendor shall supply separate badges to use for scanning
Footprint
Unit should be no wider than 4.5
Unit should be no deeper than 1.5
Dispense time should be no longer than 6 seconds
Load time should be no longer than 10 minutes
Software
Web based
Real time monitoring of stock levels
Color coded inventory alert via email
Create various management reports
Pre-installation planning, installation, start-up and training all included
Data cable connection from units to hospital network jacks supplied and installed by the vendor
VA will provide network connects and power wiring for the units
Vendor will supply wall support bracket and VA will install bracket
Warranty
One year parts and labor
Optional/Value Added Features:
Ability to use PIV cards
Required Interfaces:
Interface with the current ScrubEx system and be implemented on the same VA network
Implement the current server that is associated with the current system
Meet all VA network security guidelines when being put on the VA network
