The USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest, located in Northern Minnesota anticipate issuing a Request for Proposal to complete title commitments for the School Trust Land Exchange and Purchase Projects which collectively include all School Trust parcels within the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, approximately 82,000 acres, located in Cook, Lake, and St. Louis Counties. The properties to be acquired by the Forest are fee simple, with mineral interests to be reserved by the State of Minnesota.

The Government anticipates awarding one contract as a result of the Request for Proposal. The resulting contract will be awarded to the company with the best price technically acceptable proposal.
 
Price range is between $50,000 and $150,000, there may be additional options added.

In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). NAICS: 525920, the size standard is $32.5 Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Department of Labor wage rates. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Forest Service.

This is a synopsis, the full solicitation documents including specifications will be issued on or about May 4, 2018. Deadline for proposals will be June 5, 2014. The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at http://fbo.gov/.
