Continued Operations, Sustainment and Integration of Saturn Arch Aircraft

The US Army Contracting Command - Redstone (ACC-RSA) located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama has a requirement to procure System Operations and Sustainment Services, and test and training services in support of the Saturn Arch Aerial Intelligence Systems Quick Reaction Capability Program for the Fixed Wing Project Office of Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation.
ACC-RSA intends to issue this Sole Source solicitation to Leidos, Inc. (CAGE 5UTE0) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A) and (B) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Because of its highly specialized and unique knowledge and experience, Leidos, Inc. is the only vendor capable of sustaining, operating, testing, and conducting the required training for the Saturn Arch Aerial Intelligence Systems. Leidos, Inc. has the existing expertise, personnel, and training necessary to successfully accomplish the required services within the timeframe required to meet this requirement. The contract will include a 12-month base effort, with two 12-month options, and one six-month Option to Extend Services.

This notice of intent to issue a sole source solicitation is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government.
