Safety and Security Consultation
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), a Department of the City of Charlotte, is seeking proposals from consultants to provide professional services related to all safety & security activities, in accordance with the tasks defined for CATS Northeast Corridor Light Rail Project (NECLRP).
All documents shall be developed, prepared and submitted in written and electronic format and become the property of CATS. This project is to be completed in accordance with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) publication entitled: Safety and Security Certification Guidebook and transit industry practices (C 5800.1). All documents shall comply with Federal, State and Local regulations.
The Consultant will be responsible for the quality, technical accuracy and the coordination of all services contained in this Request for Proposal (RFP) and will, without additional compensation, correct or revise any errors or deficiencies in the services as they are discovered.
Charlotte Area Transit System Procurement will conduct a qualification based Request for Proposal (RFP) for this Safety & Security Certification project. The selected vendor will be called in for a meeting to interview and discuss qualifications.
