Safety Corridor Study
The Contractor shall provide public involvement, planning research and documenting, determining and analyzing alternatives, preliminary engineering reporting, and design topographic surveying for this project. The objective of this project is to determine the best alternative for upgrading the Highway Safety Corridor. A 4-lane divided highway provides the greatest safety benefit by physically separating opposing lanes of traffic and is the preferred solution, though other solutions will be considered. The Contracting Agency reserves the right to negotiate and add the environmental document services, final design services, assistance during bidding, and assistance during construction.
