The purpose of this amendment is to upload an updated SETIS Draft SIR Q and A FAACO document. The updated document contains updated responses to a few of the questions to coincide with the changes that will appear in the Second Draft SETIS SIR posted to FAACO. To view the Second Draft SIR posted to FAACO and FBO search under solicitation number 34751.

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified small and large businesses that possess highly specialized and skilled engineering and technical resources to fulfill future agency requirements.

PURPOSE

The FAA is seeking comments from industry on the draft screening information request (SIR) for SEITS. This is not the solicitation announcement. The FAA anticipants releasing the final SIR in September/October 2019. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received or for any costs incurred in response to this announcement. In order to provide comments on the draft SIR vendors are required to register for access to the SETIS Landing Site by following the instructions provided in this announcement and attachments. All comments from industry on the draft SIR must be submitted through the SETIS Landing Site.
