SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT-SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS
The work consists of the realignment of road, the demolition of interchange and the
construction of intersection. The proposed work includes removal of
two existing bridges, an existing box culvert and asphaltic concrete pavement;
constructing new asphaltic concrete pavement including concrete curb / curb & gutter,
new reinforced concrete box culverts, concrete drainage channel, pipe culverts, storm
drain pipe, catch basins, retaining walls, one new bridge over the Union Pacific
Railroad, lighting, landscape improvements, pavement markings; signing, and other
miscellaneous work.
