SW License Renewal for ARDEC Virtual Lab Software

The US Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the US Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote to Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Software, Inc., 5800 Granite Pkway Suite 600, Plano, TX, 75024-6612, CAGE Code 1HCQ1 pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for their proprietary "Virtual.Lab" software. This purchase is to continue the yearly commercial software license renewal of software updates and support provided by the original software manufacturer. There are no known additional authorized resellers of this requirement. The resultant contract shall be awarded as a 12 month, Firm Fixed Price, Call Order, under the simplified acquisition threshold. The applicable NAICs code for this effort is: 511210.


Contractor to provide yearly renewal of Virtual.Lab software updates and support. These services support the existing capability used by US Army ARDEC mission. In order to support customer requirements and the need for on-going operations, it is critical that these specialized tools and services are readily available. Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Software, Inc. is uniquely able to provide the necessary products and services required to support our mission. Provide services in the following capability: renewal of software with version upgrades to support applications within ARDECs collaborative integrated development environments. A Call Order will be issued against single source ARDEC BPA W15QKN-14-A-0075, which was awarded to Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Software, Inc., CAGE Code 1HCQ1, on 11 September 2014.
