A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select "Requests for Proposal ( RFP ) / Invitation For Bid (IFB)" from the menu under the tab "Solicitations." Then search for and choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at: http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The RFP-solicitation issue date 02/28/2018 and respond due date 03/28/2018.
This requirement was authorized by purchase request 70480258; and set-aside for approved 100% Small Business. A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A7-18-R-0685 was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1560-01-308-9879, Support, Structural Component, Aircraft for 30 each. Item in accordance with Part Number- 70107-08401-043 requirements, that requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Item is not Critical Application neither is Commercial item; and Export Control does not applies.
Required delivery objective is 650 days total for total production. Delivery of production requested at FOB Point @ Origin with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. Progress Payments are not authorized for this purchase.
