PRON: AX8F6099AX.  The Government proposes to acquire, on a Firm-fixed Price, One Time Buy contract, at QTY 260 EA of a STRUT, ROTOR, NSN: 1615-01-6541018; Part Number: 7-311160085-6 applicable to the APACHE (AH-64) weapon system.


Production Lead Time (PLT) is 540 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070.


This item is restricted to THE BOEING COMPANY, CAGE 8V613.


The Government does not have adequate data, lacks the rights to data, or both needed to purchase this part from additional sources. The technical factors support the Government's consideration for other than full and open competitive acquisition.  As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.


This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100.  All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves.  Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.  The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.  Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
