StressCheck is a software program that utilizes finite element analysis (FEA) to perform simulations of engineering models. The US Government (USG) requires the StressCheck software tool, which is produced by Engineering Software Research and Development (ESRD), to perform highly accurate and detailed engineering analyses using their P-version finite element. Additionally, StressCheck is required to operate and verify Boeing Corporation StressCheck models in their native file format. Notably, the StressCheck FEA results yield stress values and stress intensity factors used to perform detailed linear and non-linear stress analysis, residual stress analysis, fracture mechanics, crack growth, and fastened/bonded joint analysis, among others. To unlock these features within StressCheck, the user must purchase the required modules. The USG reviewed the available modules within StressCheck and determined the specific modules outlined in Table 1 of the Statement of Work are required to meet the engineering analysis requirement.

The period of performance for this effor is from 01 Oct 2017 through 30 Sep 2017, one base year.

The Government invites all sources who feel qualified to submit a quote for review, but the Government requires the awardee of this effort to be ready to perform upon contract award. It should be noted this requirement will not be delayed for the qualification purposes. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
