The State is soliciting proposals from vendors for a Statewide Multi-Jurisdictional Public Safety System to be funded in part by American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) dollars. A collective group have elected to jointly proceed in the selection and implementation of a Statewide Multi-Jurisdictional Public Safety System (SMJPSS) potentially consisting of the following modules in priority order: Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management (RMS), Jail Management, Statewide Data Sharing, Fire Sciences, and Mobile support.
