SRRS HEADHOUSE AND BSL-2P COMPLIANT GREENHOUSE
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Western Business Service Center, anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract for a project entitled "SRRC HeadHouse and BSL-2P Compliant Greenhouse" at the USDA, ARS, SEA, SRRC, 1100 Robert E Lee Blvd, New Orleans, LA. 70124. The work to be done consists of but is not limited to: furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with these specifications for the HeadHouse and BSL-2P Compliant Greenhouse, at the USDA-ARS, Southern Regional Research Center, in New Orleans, LA.. The Contractor shall be responsible for supplying all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials and performing all work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings for the SRRC HeadHouse and BSL-2P Compliant Greenhouse. The period of performance is 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The magnitude of construction is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a 100% set-aside for competition among Small Business Contractors. The NAICS Code is 236220, with a size standard of $36.5 million. This will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99. Solicitation No. 1232SD18B0014 documents will be available for viewing and downloading at the Fed Biz Opps web site: www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 06, 2018. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. CT. Any changes or additional information will be provided in the solicitation package. Bids will be due by 2:00 p.m., on August 07, 2018. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible small business offer, who submits the lowest technically acceptable bid. All responsible Small Businesses may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
