Request for Information (RFI)
Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contract, solicits expressions of interest from potential suppliers who have a strong background in fabrication of HEPA filter housings to meet NQA-1 quality requirements.


HEPA Filter Housings Procurement Summary - Provide labor, material and services required for the fabrication, inspection, testing, documentation, delivery, installation and startup support of ASME AG-1 (section HA) and ASME N509 Compliant HEPA filter housing assembly with the following requirements.


The HEPA Filter Housings requirements are as below:


1.    Glovebox Exhaust HEPA Filter Housings - Required Quantity -Two (2) suitable for maximum 1000 CFM Flow Housing assembly shall include fire screen, pre-filter, and 2 feet x 2 feet, two (2) HEPA filter sections, with upstream and downstream test ports (section) and filter housing transition ductwork (inlet and outlet) complete with change-out bag ports.


2.    Glovebox HOOD Exhaust HEPA Filter Housings - Required Quantity -Two (2) suitable for maximum 2000 CFM Flow Housing assembly shall include fire screen, pre-filter, and 2 feet x 2 feet, two (2) HEPA filter sections, with upstream and downstream test ports (section) and filter housing transition ductwork (inlet and outlet) complete with change-out bag ports.

3.    Dilute Process Area (DPA) Exhaust HEPA filter housings - Required Quantity -Two (2) suitable for maximum 10,500 CFM Flow. Preferably 3 wide and 3 high configuration.
Housing assembly shall include fire screen, pre-filter, and 2 feet x 2 feet, two (2) HEPA filter sections, with upstream and downstream test ports (section) and filter housing transition ductwork (inlet and outlet) complete with change-out bag ports.


A supplier's response to the RFI does not guarantee they will be selected to participate in the RFP.  Suppliers responding to this RFI shall include evidence of the following:
1. Past performance/personnel qualifications
2. Quality Assurance Manual (Uncontrolled copy)
3. Scheduling competency
4. Familiarity with EVMS
5. Qualification for codes and standards
6. Lead time (fabrication)
