This Solicitation is for a Base plus 4-Option Year Contract for the Annual chamber cleaning on the 5 AMSCO steam sterilizers located at the VA Medical Center, Togus ME facility.

In accordance with 38 USC 8127(d) Veterans First Contracting Program, and VAAR 852.219-10 VA Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside, this solicitation is competed as a SDVOSB set-aside. Only offers from contractors listed on the VETBIZ website as an SDVOSB will be considered.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 with a business size standard of 20.5 million employees. This requirement is being competed as a total Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Small Business set aside.
Offerors must submit all questions concerning this solicitation in writing to the contract specialist within seven (3) days of the posting. All responses to the questions will be made in writing, without identification of the questioner, and will be included in an amendment to the solicitation. Even if provided in other form, only the question responses included in the amendment to the solicitation will govern performance of the contract.

GENERAL:
Contractor shall provide all equipment, fluids, tools and labor necessary to perform an annual chamber cleaning on the 5 steam sterilizers located in the Sterile Processing Services (SPS) Department and OR Department. Location is within the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta, ME.
The proposed term of the service is one year from the date of the award. There will be 3 additional renewal option years to be re-evaluated and awarded annually.
The scheduling of chamber cleanings shall be coordinated with the SPS department and performed during normal working hours. Each cleaning should take approximately 3-5 hours to complete and comply with manufacturers specifications. Chamber cleaning shall not be performed on all type model machines at same time which would inhibit workflow.
Chamber cleaning service shall provide documentation of service meeting the Joint Commission and AAMI compliance requirements.


EQUIPMENT:
The AMSCO 400 16/20 s** shall be pro-rated for 2019, they are currently being serviced and will need to be included in the following option years.
