It is the intent of the City of Columbus, Division of Power and Water, Power Section, to obtain formal bids for a one time purchase of an SPCC Barrier Boom System as required by 40 CFR 112. This device shall prevent 100% flow of hydrocarbons from a containment site, while allowing the unimpeded flow of water. It is to be used in oil filled equipment storage areas containing distribution transformers.
