SPARE AIRCRAFT MAIN ROTOR BLADES IN SUPPORT OF FOREIGN MILITARY SALES TAIWAN
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6-302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This foreign military sales (FMS) requirement is for the one-time procurement of 32 Main Rotor Blades (MRB) for Taiwan, FMS procurement uniquely configured for the UH-60M Aircraft. The resultant contract shall be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract. The anticipated period of performance is 16 months from date of award. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Cage Code: 78286) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the uniquely configured UH-60 Aircraft. The Part Number for this procurement is Part # 70150-09200-041 and the National Stock Number (NSN) 1615-01-546-1148. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date and time of this publicized synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NACICS) code for this procurement is 336413. The small business size standard is 500.
