SPARC RFP - Downtown Hotels Initiative
Letters of intent will be accepted until 4:00PM on Friday, May 1, 2009.
The final deadline for this RFP is 4:00PM on Monday, August 3, 2009.
The City of Alexandria is issuing a Request for Proposals from interested and qualified developers, investors, and hoteliers, relative to a large-scale economic development partnering project. This RFP should be answered by interested partiesbusiness consortia directly or through consultantsaccording to the rules of the RFP.
Responses should provide (with respect to the projects outlined in the RFP) for the planning, design, and submission of partial or global proposals to the City of Alexandria for aid to redevelop the downtown hotels, particularly the Alexander Fulton Hotel, the Hotel Bentley, and, potentially, the Alexandria Riverfront Center, all within the SPARC-CRA-1 area.
