This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Defense Forensics Science Center (DFSC) has a mission essential requirement for a T-1 data service contract to support the US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory digital evidence forensic examiner operations. The T-1 is necessary for conducting forensic law enforcement sensitive (LES) investigations on the internet supporting operational missions and military court requirements. The current circuit will go from a T1 to a T1 x 4 (bonded) due to increased bandwidth requirements to access and retrieve internet based media data.
Period of Performance: 20 August 2014 - 19 August 2015
Offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a quote via e-mail. The quote shall not exceed ten (4) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Price Quote.
