SOURCE SOUGHT
This Source Sought Notice is seeking qualified manufacturing sources capable of providing the government 2600ea of a BOLT,SELF-LOCKING, NSN: 5306-01-185-6236 with approved sources:
Space-Lok Inc (16258) P/N 70103-08801-103, SPS Technologies LLC (56878) P/N 83067-12-103, and Avibank Inc (84256) P/N AS299-103. This is not a Request for a Proposal, Request for Quote, or Request for Invitation for Bid. This Source Sought Notice will be followed by a FEDBIZZOPPS Pre-Solicitation Notice for this item and then a Request for Proposal (RFP) under solicitation SPE5EC20R0001. This is a firm fixed price buy with a 50% quantity option solicited in accordance with FAR 15.
Interested contractors are requested to review the item description carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. Interested contractors who are not an approved source, but are interested in becoming a qualified source of supply for this item (BOLT,SELF-LOCKING), are required to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. All SAR packages will be forwarded to the Engineering Support Activity (ESA) for review. Contractors not listed as an approved source who submitted a SAR package, may be considered for future procurements contingent upon the review/approval/acceptance of the SAR package. This Source Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry.
