ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for procurement of Fluke Calibration Supplies and Services used in support of maintaining the In-Station Calibration (ISC) effort in support of Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Spectrum 9100 Flight Configuration Test Stations. This test station is used to test circuit card assemblies (CCAs) in the Trident D5 Missile. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to NSWC Crane, 300 Hwy 361, Crane, IN 47552-5001.
The proposed contract action is for the supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Fluke Corporation, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A). This is being sole sourced because award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of costs that are not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable time delays. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 6.
