The Government has a requirement for redesigned brake assemblies used in the AN/ALQ 99 Ram Air Turbine (RAT) manufactured by Honeywell International, Inc. There will also be an option included for procuring a technical data package update for five identified drawings, a drawing tree for the Ram Air Turbine P/N 953036-7-1 assembly, and an updated drawing set for all drawings comprising the Ram Air Turbine P/N 953036-7-1 assembly. The procurement will be for a maximum quantity of 400 redesigned brake assemblies. FOB destination. Delivery will begin 6 months after receipt of order at a rate of 60 per month at NSWC Crane, Crane, IN 47522-5001. This effort will be Sole Sourced to Honeywell International, Inc., 2525 West 190th St, Torrance, CA, 90504-6002 in accordance with the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The Government does not possess a complete technical data package to compete this action. A competitive procurement approach would require extensive cost duplication for non-recurring engineering and product validation and an unacceptable delay in schedule to meet requirement needs. The effort will not be set aside for small business concerns.
The solicitation will not be made available on Fed Biz Opps and no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
