SOLE SOURCE SOLICITATION
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (Oakland Detachment) intends to issue a sole source order to Peerless Mfg. Co. for Burgess-Manning BMF-333-26-540 Series ‘A' inlet filter. All 304 stainless steel construction with a bare mill finish. Peerless Mfg. Co. is the original manufacturer of referenced item and maintains the proprietary rights which make them the sole source.

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all proposals received within ten days after date of this publication/synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
This solicitation is restricted to Peerless Mfg. Co. f50 Cobham Drive, Orchard Park, NY 14127. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited.
All responsible sources may respond by submitting qualifications/capabilities of the company to provide Burgess-Manning BMF-333-26-540 Series ‘A' inlet filter.
