SOIL-SEED CONTACT, VEGETATION TREATMENT - CARSON CITY BLM
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement to treat 1,469 acres using a metal tracked dozer pulling a wheeled/roller imprinter or similar piece of equipment across the treatment area, for the purpose of creating soil-seed contact following an aerially seeding application. Project area is in the BLM Carson City District, Washoe County, NV.
The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable and the appropriate SCA Wage Decision is attached. See attached Statement of Work and Map.
NAICS: 115112 Size Standard: $7.5M, 100% Set-Aside for Total Small Business under the 115112 NAICS code for Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract.
An organized site visit is NOT scheduled. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. IN NO EVENT SHALL FAILURE TO INSPECT THE SITE CONSTITUTE GROUNDS FOR A CLAIM AFTER CONTRACT AWARD
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
Period of performance is estimated and will be based on completion of an aerial seed application. This project shall follow the seed application project.
