Questions received and answers:

1.Previous SOFIC MOUs between USSOCOM and NDIA have clearly stated that the exhibition is wholly separate from SOFIC. This solicitation implies that USSOCOM will be involved in the exhibition. Is this a change to the current arrangement between SOFIC and the exhibition?

Answer: Yes, this is a change. This Sources Sought reflects USSOCOM's desires for the future.

2.What are the attendance numbers for SOFIC alone (not including the exhibition)? Because USSOCOM attendees had access to both conference and exhibition hall, the only way to estimate this is to subtract the number of registrants who registered for the exhibition ONLY from the total.

Answer: That number comes out to 10,959.

3.How much square footage is needed for SOFIC alone (not the exhibition)? How many separate rooms (and what size) are required?

Answer: 10 separate rooms are needed for the PEO/Dir Breakout Sessions. Session room square footage will vary, largest rooms are ~4,000 sq. ft.; average rooms 3,600 sq. ft. for ~360 attendees. General Session room needs to be ~ 28,800 sq. ft. to seat at least 2500 attendees; 4 rooms to conduct subject matter breakout sessions to seat ~360 attendees each; 1 room to conduct Innovation Showcase for ~200 attendees; and space for ten 10x10 booths to allow the government to exhibit resources available to industry.

4.Is there any relationship between this solicitation and USSOCOM's International SOF Conference that is usually held every two years (the next one will be 2020)?

Answer: No

5.Is it possible to meet in-person regarding the requirements?

Answer: No, we won't be hosting in-person meetings
