The MCCCP is allocating funding for a contractor to develop and implement a marketing and
media initiative to increase awareness of, and screening for, colorectal cancer as well as
promote the enrollment in the federally funded colorectal cancer screening program
(MCRCCP). This work will specifically target those individuals eligible for enrollment in the
screening program: Maine residents over the age of 50, living at or below 250% of the federal
poverty level, uninsured or underinsured, with special emphasis on those individuals who have
never been screened for colorectal cancer.
