SOURCES SOUGHT FOR COMMERCIAL ITEM PURCHASE

The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on vendors that are capable of providing an SMC HRZ001-L-D Thermo Chiller with express FOB Destination shipping in accordance with the attached draft Specifications. NIST-Boulder has a state-of-the-art research laboratory (the Katharine Bloggett Gebbie Building) to support the most sensitive research done at NIST. Included in this building is a Class 100 microelectronics fabrication facility, called the Boulder Micro-Fabrication Facility (BMF). Part of the fabrication process requires the reuse of an SPTS Pegasus Deep Reactive Ion Etcher. This tool uses an SMC HRZ chiller to cool the wafer. The existing chiller is failing. In order to keep the tool operational, the BMF requires an exact replacement chiller.
