SHOOTING RANGE IMPROVEMENTS
Site visit on 3/22/2010 (not clear if mandatory). The project shall consist of, but is not limited to, the associated excavation, grading, drainage work, improvements to pedestrian walkways, construction of two new back stop extensions, realignment and improvements to the existing back stop structure on the earthen back stop berm, installation of a new woven wire fence and gates, removal of portions of the existing roof and other designated portions of the existing range structure, removal and replacement of bituminous concrete pavement, excavation and installation of concrete supports, construction of timber supports, cross frames and braces, timber and steel wing walls, timber and steel gallery walls, installation of a new roof system, structural improvements, electrical wiring, turf establishment, landscaping and incidental work necessary to complete the project. The new facility shall be compliant with standards established by the National Rifle Association (NRA) or similar national standards for shooting ranges.
