SHEAR BLOCK DISPOSAL CONTAINERS (SBDC)
DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to procure 36 each Large Shear Block Disposal Containers IAW with Drawing Specifications; 12 each Small Shear Block Disposal Containers IAW Drawing Specifications; and, 3 each Platforms IAW with Drawing Specifications. All drawing specifications will be available at the time of solicitation issuance. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial RFQ in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. The applicable NAICS Code is 332439. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The non-manufacturer waiver rule does not apply; therefore, to be considered for award, the containers and platform must be manufactured by a Small Business Manufacturer offering a domestic product (US).
The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply contract for delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Immediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF), Bremerton, WA. Delivery is required by 01 December 2014. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). To be considered for award, vendors must submit their quotes on the solicitation document posted to NECO to include pricing and completion of all certifications and representations contained in the document. Offerors not submitting a fully completed quote will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered for award.
The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-14-Q-0323. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 24 July 2014. The closing date of the solicitation will be on 25 August 2014 at 10:00AM Pacific Local Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://www.neco.navy.mil and will also be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
