PRON: AX8F6117AX.  The Government proposes to acquire, on a five year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, a minimum quantity of 50 each up to 350 each maximum of Shaft, Drive, Flexible, NSN: 3040-01154-7122, Part Number: 7-211350009 in support of the BJ -  AH-64 Apache weapon system.


 


The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 608 Days After Receipt of Delivery Order and without First Article Testing is 405 Days After Receipt of Delivery Order with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002.

This item is suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time from approved source(s) of supply. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100.  As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR).  The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.


  


The FedBizOpps.gov website will be used to issue the solicitation, amendments or any other information concerning the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about 31 May 2018.

 


The anticipated award date is on or about 31 December 2018.
