A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select "Requests for Proposal ( RFP ) / Invitation For Bid (IFB)" from the menu under the tab "Solicitations." Then search for and choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at: http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The RFP-solicitation issue date 06/28/2019 and respond due date 07/29/2019.
This requirement was authorized by purchase request 0079153857; and solicit as OTHER THAN FULL & OPEN COMPETITION for approved sources of supply. A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A7-19-R-0983 was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1615-01-125-6991, Shaft, Tail Drive for 148 each. Item is Navy Critical/Flight Safety (NCSI) as verified on the CSI lists on June 7, 2019. Item is not commercial neither is Export Controlled. Item is Critical Application. Item acquires engineering source approval by the design control activity; the Government does not have adequate data nor rights to data. Item production requirement is in accordance with approved sources of supply and part number: Sikorsky Aircraft Corp, CAGE 78286 and Precision Gear Inc, CAGE 21540 - Part Number-64361-04312-102 requirements.
Required delivery objective is 850 days total. Delivery of production requested at FOB Point @ Origin with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. Progress Payments are not authorized for this purchase.
