TITLE: NSN for BE UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter Weapon System, Sole Source, Long Term Contract, OEM Parker-Hannifin Corporation
This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract for one (1) NSN to support the UH-60 weapon systems. The NSN targeted to be added or repriced for this contract effort is NSN: 1650-01-6249255; Part Number; 274600-1051; NOUN: SERVOCYLINDER ASSEM with the following specifications; AMRC Code: 3Q with an AMC/AMSC expiration date of 03/25/2022. The required Production Lead Time will be 720 days after contract award. The proposed sole source action will be issued to Parker-Hannifin Corporation, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE): 82106 and is intended to be on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Items provided by the following Parker-Hannifin CAGE codes covered by this acquisition: 59211, 82106, 3H889, 93835, 49695, 86329, 09523, 26433, 33269, 99321, 1QTD9, 56300, 55813, 50948, and 11362.
The proposed requirement will be for a total of five (5) years period of performance. The ordering periods are 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. The annual demand quantity is 120 units for year one (1) and 150 units each year for years two (2) through five (5). Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. NSN: 1650-01-6249255 is the item that has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.
This item is being added to contract SPE4AX-14-D-9413, a firm fixed price with price redetermination Indefinite Quantity Contract, awarded to The Parker Hannifin Corporation CAGE Code: 82106 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSN identified here was not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
