Network Contracting Activity 8, North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System intends to award a Firm Fixed Price service contract for Repair/Rebuild of four (4) trip units for the Malcom Randall Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). This procurement is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13 and simplified acquisition procedures apply. Period of performance is 24 Sep 2019 23 December 2019. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335311 with a small business size standard of 750 employees.
The solicitation number is 36C24819Q1418 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-04, effective 6 Sep 2019. This solicitation starts 9 Sep 2019 and will end 23 Sep 2019 at 12:00 am EST.
This solicitation is being issued as a tiered evaluation for SDVOSB concerns, or in the alternative, a tiered evaluation for VOSB concerns, or in the alternative, a set-aside for other small business concerns with HUBZone small business concerns and 8{a} participants having priority. If an award cannot be made, the solicitation will be cancelled, and the requirement resolicited.
This solicitation will use Comparative Analysis. Award will be made to the offeror determined to be technically acceptable and price is determined to be reasonable; all eligible offerors may submit quotes. All offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at ; and (if applicable), to be considered for an award of a federal contract. The record shall be complete and not missing elements such as representations and certifications; and SDVOSB/VOSB shall be certified.
A site visit is scheduled for 10 Sep 2019 at 9am at the Malcom Randall VAMC, Engineering Office, EB87-1, basement main hospital. POC is Ed Burnett or Andrew Turknett. This visit is to allow for review of the four (4) trip units requiring repair/rebuild.
