The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan, Puerto Rico is conducting market research to identify potential Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) or Veterans Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) as per P.L. 109-461 First Contracting Program mandate to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interestedcontractor(s) shall be technically capable in providing service (preventive maintenance) to HighTech/High Cost SIEMENS Equipment located at the San Juan VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and its Outpatient Clinics located in Ponce, and Mayaguez.
The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 811219. The Business Size Standard is $20.5M. Due date for submission of company capabilities on listed specialized equipment, and availability to serve in the Puerto Rico geographical area is Friday, March 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m, local time. This Sources Sought Notice is to assist the VA in identifying an appropriate acquisition strategy only. No solicitation package is available yet. Once a solicitation is issued, if interested vendors are found, the same will be announced/posted in this website (Federal Business Opportunities-FBO) with sufficient time for all interested parties to respond accordingly. Interested parties shall respond to the solicitation, addressing each of the evaluation factors and/or Performance Work Statement; in order to be considered for award.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement among SDVOSB or VOSB only. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.
