SEEKING SOURCES OF FARMING INSTRUCTORS FOR VETERAN TRAINING
STATEMENT OF WORK
1. PURPOSE
To provide veterans a fully qualified farm instructor designed to restore employability. Instruction will be provided for operating a farm which he or she owns or leases. Instruction will be provided until the veteran is self-sufficient and making a profit. Instruction will be provided16 hours per month.
2. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The contractor shall assist the veteran under this contract by providing assistance such as: (diversified farming; livestock, fruit, and vegetables)
(1) Planning;
(2) Producing;
(3) Marketing;
(4) Maintaining farm equipment;
(5) Conserving farm resources;
(6) Financing the farm;
(7) Managing the farm; and
(8) Keeping farm and home accounts.
3. PERFORMANCE
Contractor will submit monthly record of training and wages to reflect veteran's progress.
