This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation no. 140L4319Q0124 has been issued as a Request For Quotation for a firm-fixed-price commercial items services contract for Seed Extraction and Processing, located at Horning Seed Orchard, Colton, OR as one lump sum price. The scope of work includes seed extraction and processing as well as delivery of seed to and from the Horning Seed Orchard. The performance period is from date of award through May 1, 2020. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-06 published September 10, 2019. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisitio. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price. The NAICS code is 113210 and the small business size standard is $12 million. The basis of award is the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made to the responsible respondent pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1.
