SECURITY CAMERAS
Note: mandatory pre-proposal meeting 01/14/2010.
Security for this system is of the highest importance. There will be
multiple firewalls and VLANs in place that must be configured to work
with the proposed system. The Contractor shall perform the following
tasks:
1. Purchase, install and configure thirteen (13) fixed cameras and
domes on specific locations shown on the site plans.
2. Purchase, install and configure seven (7) PTZ cameras and domes
on specific locations shown on the site plans.
3. Purchase, install and configure a wall mounted 24U equipment
rack inside the electrical room as specified on the site plans.
4. Purchase, install and configure one (1) network video recorder
(NVR) with at least 2 TB of internal data storage capacity using
the equipment rack inside the electrical room.
5. Purchase, install and configure the necessary rack mounted video
converters (this will depend on the type of camera being installed).
6. Install rack mounted routers and switches in the equipment rack.
7. Install a rack mounted UPS battery.
8. Configure all twenty (20) cameras with a LAN setting to the NVR.
9. Install and configure management workstation with Indigo Vision
software.
10. Purchase and install conduit materials to run from the electrical
room to all camera locations.
11. Purchase and install network cables from the network source(s)
to all systems.
12. Purchase and install power cables from the power source(s) to
all systems.
13. Provide power to all cameras and all other network equipment
using existing power source(s) in the garage facility.
