Description: NSN 2540-01-607-2817 - SEAT VEHICULAR being bought in accordance with OSHKOSH CORPORATION DBA 45152 P/N 28KP559 OR JANKEL TACTICAL SYSTEMS, LLC DBA 59AT1 P/N K000049. The total quantity required is 575 each to be delivered within 60 days of award. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 06/03/2014; hard copies of this solicitation are not available. This solicitation is a small business set aside. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. The Contracting Officer may utilize on-line reverse auctioning as a means of conducting price discussions under this solicitation. If the Contracting Officer does not conduct a reverse auction, award may be made on the basis of initial offers or following discussions not using reverse auctioning as a pricing technique. If the Contracting Officer decides to use on-line reverse auctioning to conduct price negotiations, the Contracting Officer will notify Offerors of this decision and the provision for the auction will apply.
