The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is pleased to announce a funding opportunity for heavy-duty on-road truck fleet modernization in the South Coast Air Basin under the Carl Moyer program. This program is designed to assist truck owners/operators to replace pre-1990 heavy-duty diesel trucks (Class 7 and 8) with Model Year 2007 or newer diesel-fueled trucks or natural gas-fueled trucks. Applications are being accepted now, and projects will be funded on a first-come first-served basis if all program requirements are met.
