Rural Services Workshop and Self-Paced On-Line Training

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to engage an independent consultant or consultants who will work with GII staff and other contractors who will develop two products for Goodwill Industries International:
1.Develop the content for one one-hour Rural Services PowerPoint presentation that can be converted into a self-paced online training module.
2.Serve as a featured speaker at a two-day "Rural Services Initiative" workshop to be held in Roanoke VA on August 23 and 24, 2010. At the workshop, the consultant will present a four-hour training on August 23 about the specific needs of workforce development professionals working in rural communities, and will participate in the discussion the following day, August 24. Consultants unable to physically participate in the August workshop may propose alternate methods of engaging the audience in the requested training.
Responders to this solicitation may propose providing one or both products for GII.
